Chicken. Vegetables. Rice. How can it get any better than that?!
My husband lovingly refers to this as “stir fry.” It is his favorite recipe and I swear he asks me to make it once a week, which is fine by me because this recipe is quick, yummy, and healthy! It’s a triple threat!
How many of you have had green tea? Now, how many of you have had good green tea? This number is probably smaller than the first number. Why? Because most people make green tea the wrong way!
I’m sure you’ve made regular black tea. Iced tea, sun tea, sweet tea – It’s all basically the same thing. And since tea is tea, it’s all made the same way, right?
One of the most important things in learning how to live naturally is making sure you eat a wide variety of vegetables, and lots of them. I don’t know about you, but when I began this journey my recipe repertoire was fairly limited to the basics: Mac & cheese, sloppy joes, meatloaf, spaghetti, etc. Not a lot of room for extra veggies, hm?
So I had to do some digging for new recipes that pushed me out of my comfort zone. This is the first “cleaner” recipe I made, and it’s one of my favorites! Who doesn’t love Taco Tuesday? If you’re anything like us, that’s a rule in our household: Tuesday is for tacos! But let’s be honest, there’s only so much you can do with tacos. And just how healthy are they really?
So we traded in the traditional tacos for these mouth-watering one skillet taco bowls. I love these because they’re so quick to make, they’re yummy, and I can control more of the ingredients! Feel free to mix up the recipe by adding your own favorite toppings!
